TOY 4 | Endless Weekend | Worldline

by Worldline feat. Todd Colby

These silver days have made one of each of them. Each identifiable within the framework of the hours, the days. Each day leading up to an entire week and those days leading up to a month, or longer. The silver rays have certainly made themselves known. This circus of sparks has lent itself its own ear. A liniment, a tone. A lotion that makes the ears ring. Fester on the dirt, the road leads to one aspect or another. Let us find the dream key. This focus on the marginal episodes between moons, and the days which lead to night, where each moment is slow as syrup pouring over one last laugh. Fear not. For the plastic intensity, elastic as light.

about

Beatnik acid. Worldline effortlessly melds pounding Chicago and Detroit-influenced techno and house, TB-303, and Farfisa organ with poet and artist Todd Colby's freeform spoken word, delving deep into these times in which we live. Todd's vocals carry the same passion as when he fronted influential early 1990s NYC indie-rock group Drunken Boat, and collaborated with Soul Coughing founder Mike Doughty. MSTRBLSTR contributes a stunning NYC acid house remix. Plus, two special drum edits, for DJs.
